Topic - Workers in struggle Speakers - SLP President Andrew Jordan, Other Speakers TBC.


8th June 2013 - SLP East Midlands Public Meeting - 2pm.

Venue - Leicester Secular Hall, 75 Humberstone Gate, Leicester, LE1 1WB.

Topic - The SLP on the alternative to the cuts and the solution needed to repair our economy. Speaker - SLP President Andrew Jordan.


8th June 2013 - SLP West Midlands at the Chainmakers Festival.

Time - 11am-5pm

Venue - Bearmore Park, Bearmore Road, Cradley Heath, Sandwell, B64 6DU.

29th June 2013 - SLP East Midlands Region The Alternative to 'The Cuts' Public Meeting.

Venue - 23 West Street Swadlincote Derbyshire DE11 9DG. Time - 1.30pm - 3.30pm. Speakers - TBC.


6th July 2013 - South Yorkshire Festival.

SLP Yorkshire and Humberside will have a stall at this year's South Yorkshire Festival. Everyone welcome - come and visit our stall.


Saturday 13th July 2013 - SLP North East Region Durham Miners Gala.

A number of SLP regional banners will take part in the march from the city centre to the racecourse. We need as many members as possible to attend the event to either hold banners or to distribute literature to the crowd.

19th July 2013 - SLP South West Region Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival.

Date - Friday 19th July 2013 - Sunday 21st July 2013.

SLP South West Region will have a stall in the Martyrs' Marque over the course of the weekend and the region will be joined by other regions for the march of the banners on the Sunday afternoon. Members are welcome to get involved at any point over the weekend but we need as many members as possible to attend the Sunday afternoon to either hold banners or to distribute literature to the crowd.
